The first picture is from early this morning–by noon, a 50 degree wind had swept it all away.

Farm (2 of 1)I’m not sure what Hemingway meant about Africa–but I do know that landscapes change quickly–everything is ephemeral, subject to the magic of light.

    Lovely albeit ephemeral snow in Spokane.
    Warm grey. It’s a color but also winter here in Alaska.
